In this first newsletter we would like to inform you about the latest developments regarding the RESTORE technology, but also beyond that about news from District Heating and Cooling systems, Thermochemical Energy Storages (TCES) and Organic Rankine Cycles.
The development of the RESTORE technical solution is on track! The design of a small-scale TCES reactor prototype is a major success for one of the two main key innovative technologies and is the basis for upscaling it to higher proportions. The simulation-based working fluid selection and thermochemical optimization for the reversible Organic Rankine Cycle represents an important step for developing the other key innovative technology. Additionally, Requirements for the RESTORE technology were specified considering the different sources and sinks that can be interconnected.
