RESTORE at #ORC2023 in Seville:

Marco Astolfi (Politecnico di Milano), Project coordinator Francisco C. Nuñez (Fundación CENER), Erhard Perz (SimTech) and Markus Haider (TU Wien) disseminated the project at the EU Corner.

The 7th international Seminar on Organic Rankine Cycle Power Systems taking place from 4th to 6th September 2023 was jointly organized by KCORC and University of Seville. The conference is all about the ORC technology as cornerstone of energy transition thanks to its versatility, flexibility and reliability. The Restore concept makes use of this technology to integrate different kinds of Renewable Energy Sources in District Heating and Cooling (DHC) networks in a competitive way. The aim is to develop a technology that allows for 100 % renewables in DHC. Thus Restore contributes to effectively decarbonize the Heating & Cooling sector.
