Time: 8:30 – 16:30 (CEST)
About this event:
The final workshop of RESTORE will take place in Vienna to bring together experts on energy systems and to showcase the developments of the research project.
The first half of the day will include presentations of different research projects on Thermal Energy Storage and its application to Carnot Batteries. Subsequently, the presenters will discuss the role of Thermal Energy Storage in future energy systems.
The second half of the day will share some of the results obtained in the RESTORE project. The technical tour will lead to the labs of TU Wien, where the RESTORE prototype is assembled. This highly innovative Carnot Battery prototype consists of a reversible Organic Rankine Cycle system (for more information, see press release / video) connected to a Thermochemical Energy Storage reactor (for more information, see press release / video). Furthermore, we will present to you the outcomes and conclusions from the four years of research.
Attendees will have multiple networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and potential partnerships.
Registration is required to participate in the final workshop. The participation is free. It is possible to participate online at the morning session (8.30 am to 11.45 am) after registration.
