Date: Monday, April 28th, 2025
Time: 14:00 – 15:30 (CEST)
About this webinar:
In this first training webinar of the RESTORE project, learn how to use the virtual tool designed to optimize and simulate the RESTORE system. Developed using SimTech’s advanced simulation tools, IPSEpro and IPSE GO, this tool allows for detailed virtual implementation of the RESTORE concept. A specialized model library, RESTORE_Lib, has been created to model individual components of the RESTORE system. This library includes models for both RESTORE key technologies: Thermochemical Energy Storage and the reversible Organic Rankine Cycle.
Six virtual Use-Cases have been defined for the project to demonstrate the capability of the RESTORE concept in scaled-up scenarios under different boundary conditions. In this webinar, we will show you how to create and solve models using the virtual tool, based on two of these Use-Cases.
Agenda:
- 14:00 – 14:10 Welcome and introduction to the project
- 14:20 – 14:20 General introduction to the tool and the two Use-Cases
- 14:20 – 14:55 Practical implementation of Use-Case 1 (Hybrid CSP-biomass plant Brønderslev) including discussion
- 14:55 – 15:25 Practical implementation of Use-Case 2 (Cement factory of Gmunden) including discussion
- 15:25 – 15:30 Wrap-up
